What We Believe

Father

“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph. 4:6). The Father is God as the Creator of all contingent beings. All created things are brought to be by the Father.

Son

“God was manifest in the flesh” (1 Tim. 3:16). The Son is the bodily temple of God. He is the visible expression of the invisible God; the express image of God's person (Heb. 1:3). The Son's name is Jesus, which means Jehovah has become salvation. God came to Earth in the person of Jesus Christ to redeem us from our sins and to grant unto us eternal life.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the one God of the Bible who regenerates, seals and preserves believers. It is God's bringing conviction to a sinner's heart in order to draw him or her closer to God. It is the prerequisite to the New Birth (John 3:5) and the seal of every believer (Eph. 1:13).

One God

“Hear O Israel, the LORD our God is one LORD” (Deut. 6:4). The God of the Bible is one in Person with no  real division or composition in His essence. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are modes of revelation of the one and selfsame God. The one Person of God is Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration.

Salvation

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). The Apostle Peter, as the spokesperson for the Apostolic ministry, declared these words on the Day of Pentecost. What he described here is the New Birth Jesus spoke of in John 3:3-5, which is obedience to Christ's death, burial and resurrection (1 Cor. 15:1-4). Genuine faith in Christ (John 3:16), repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues are absolutely essential for salvation.

Holiness:

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14). If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). Being born again brings us into the Kingdom of God. Born again believers have been transformed and empowered by God's Spirit to live victorious lives over sin. A life of submission and obedience to the Lord is characteristic of all people who genuinely love the Lord (1 John 2:4-6).
